FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working with AshCode.

How long does a typical project take?+

It depends on the scope. A marketing website takes 2–4 weeks. A web application takes 6–14 weeks. A full SaaS platform or enterprise system typically takes 16–32 weeks. We always provide a detailed timeline during the proposal phase.

What information do you need to get started?+

A basic description of what you want to build is enough to have an initial conversation. For a formal proposal, we'll need your functional requirements, design preferences, integration needs, target users, and timeline. We guide you through this in our discovery process.

Do you handle design or just development?+

Both. Our team includes senior UI/UX designers who handle everything from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes. You can also bring your own designs and we'll implement them perfectly.

What tech stack do you use?+

Our primary stack is Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL — chosen for performance, scalability, and maintainability. For mobile we use React Native. For enterprise projects we also work with Python, Django, and AWS services.

Who owns the code when the project is done?+

You own 100% of everything we build for you — the code, designs, and IP. We transfer all rights upon final payment.

Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance?+

Yes. All projects include a support period (1–12 months depending on plan). After that, we offer monthly maintenance retainers covering security updates, bug fixes, performance monitoring, and minor enhancements.

Can you work with our existing team?+

Absolutely. We regularly work as an extension of in-house teams, handling specific features, new products, or areas where extra capacity is needed. We adapt to your development workflow and communication style.

How do you handle project communication?+

You'll get a dedicated project manager as a single point of contact. We use Slack for daily communication, Notion for documentation, and hold weekly video calls for sprint reviews. You always know exactly where things stand.

What are your payment terms?+

Standard terms are 50% upfront to begin, 25% at the midpoint milestone, and 25% on final delivery. For larger projects we can arrange monthly billing aligned to sprint deliverables.

Do you sign NDAs?+

Yes, we sign NDAs before any sensitive discussions. Confidentiality is taken seriously and built into all our client agreements.

What if I need changes after the project starts?+

Minor changes within scope are handled at no extra cost. Significant scope changes are quoted separately and added as change orders with clear pricing and timeline impact.

How do you ensure the quality of the code?+

We use automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E tests), code reviews for every PR, ESLint and TypeScript strict mode, and performance profiling. Every project goes through QA before delivery.
